Sailing Guests

As a Locarno Sailing Fleet Member, you are welcome to bring a guest out with you for a sail, but only on multi-person craft.  As you are responsible for the safety of your guest, you must be competent to successfully lead an unskilled sailor through a man overboard or capsize recovery. Use good judgment. If your guest is an unskilled sailor, take out a boat that you can manage on your own. As you are also responsible for the craft, you must skipper the boat to and from shore.

Under no circumstances is a guest permitted to take out a vessel on their own.

Underaged guests are permitted but only on a multi-person craft.

Every guest must register and agree to the guest waiver every time. If the guest is under 19 a parent or guardian must sign on their behalf.
