Volunteer
Club Locarno is a volunteer organization. All members are expected to contribute at least four hours of their time to help run the club and to keep the equipment and clubrooms in working order.
While several "work parties" and social events are planned throughout the season, there are other projects needing volunteers, either on a one-off or ongoing basis.
If you are using Slack to connect with other club members, please add yourself to the Volunteering Slack Channel as lots of requests for volunteer jobs are posted there. If you are not yet signed up for Slack, but would like to join the conversations, here is how to sign up.

- Contact sailing@clublocarno.com for volunteer opportunities related to sailing.
- Contact rowing@clublocarno.com for volunteer opportunities related to rowing.
- Go to the kayak work list and sign up for a task, or contact kayaking@clublocarno.com for volunteer opportunities related to kayaking. Please update the work list when you have done the deed.
- Contact windsurfing@clublocarno.com for volunteer opportunities related to windsurfing
- Contact social@clublocarno.com to help out with social events and activities.

If you will incur expenses as part of your volunteer work, get approval from an executive member BEFORE you spend the money, then submit the receipts to them on along with this form: Locarno Expense Report.xls
