This checkout will happen after the Social Boxing Day Paddle/Row scheduled for 11 am on December 26th. The start time might vary depending on the finish of the social event. Please be patient if you arrive and the boats are still out on the water.
This Checkout is for experienced rowers who wish to have early access to these boats for winter rowing. Existing Level 2 (Maas) rowers, Echo rowers with at least 2 years experience, and rowers who are confident to handle larger, heavier boats on land and on the water are welcome to attend. Basically, if you have experience rowing to the 3rd bell marker in winter conditions, feel free to attend. This checkout will take place on land only. There is no requirement to go rowing, but of course you are welcome to do so after the checkout.
