This is a member run weekly kayak, and a great chance to meet other paddlers and learn new skills. We will try to have a group leader for each social event. The socials will vary from just a nice easy paddle to practicing skills such as self-rescue, assisted rescue, forward strokes, turning strokes, braces, etc.
Launch from the beach at 9.30am! So, aim to meet at 9am to get organized. The group will stay together for the social.
Please register for the event, and cancel if you can't make it. Please check others are registered before turning up, unless you're happy to paddle alone.
This is an event for anyone checked-out to use the kayak fleet. You may also bring a guest. All levels of paddlers are welcome.
We'll paddle and then might run to the galley while it is still open.
We will try and post each week who the group leader will be and or the trip plan or any skills that they would like to work on.
