Full Moon Social Paddle
Late evening paddle to catch the full moon - Tuesday 12nd July. Meet at 7:30pm (for 8:00pm launch). OK, full moon is actually Wednesday, but moon rise is 9.08pm Tuesday vs. 10:02pm Wednesday.
Let's celebrate the full moon with a twilight paddle with friends. The sun sets at 9:15pm, moon rise is 9:08pm, so let's plan to be ready to launch at 8:00pm. High tide is 7.05pm
We'll plan to be on the water 2 to 2 1/2 hrs, so we'll be getting back 10:00-10:30pm.
We will probably head out to the second dolphin, red bell or perhaps the yellow wave machine - depending on the weather. We will paddle together as a group.
You MUST bring a water proof light or headlamp
Feel free to gather on the beach for a social after cleaning and storing the equipment.
Make sure you have a key to re-enter the compound after 9 pm.
Note: This event is weather dependent. Watch the Kayak Slack Channel for last minute changes. We will cancel if there is heavy cloud cover or rain.
