Spring SAILING WORK PARTY (Vanguards Cats RS500)

The 3rd of several sailing work parties to get our fleet ready for the summer season, this work party will have a particular focus on double handed mono-hulls, spinnakers and recreational cats.

We will need at least 6 people to flip the Vanguards and dry-capsize the Cats.

We will be stepping of masts, cleaning hulls, repairing and checking of rigging, foils, trampolines, and we will also put some effort into getting the hulls of our cats to a beaming shine ✨  (See here for the definitive how-to)

Who should attend:

• If you are Vanguard15, RS500, Nacra500, Nacra570 sailors this is an excellent opportunity to show some love to your boats in anticipation of the joy they will give you during this coming 2023 season.

• For sailors-to-be, work parties are the best ways to get to know your rigging and learn tips from experienced sailors and Captains, and get them to bring you as crew on their next sail, so you can practice and improve your seamanship too.

• If you are unsure, there will be lots to do for all skill levels, plus coffee and donuts in the morning and pizza at the end.
  

Stefan Reinsberg, our Sailing Director, Ryan Alban, our RS500 Vanguard15 Fleet Captain, and Eden Zhang, our Recreational Cats Fleet Captain will be there leading the effort.
