Windsurf Trip - Squamish Day Trip

Come join us on a day trip to Squamish to discover our best local high-wind windsurfing destination at an hour's drive. Trip planning includes one of more planning/prep sessions leading up to the trip and for wrapping-up.

We're aiming to go to Squamish on June 22nd.  Once the weather is confirmed, we'll charge fees as applicable (see below).

As part of the trip, we'll hold some skills clinics (e.g. water starting) for Level 2 sailors. 

To participate:

• A nominal Club Trip Fee of $20 is required for all members who will be using club gear on the trip, but is waived for TWO (2) volunteer trip co-leaders and for those who already have a High Wind Pass.  Contact the Director (windsurfing@clublocarno.com) to be a trip leader.
• Online registration (even if you use own gear)
• Attended a rigging clinic in the past or prior to trip
• Level 2 and Level 3 windsurfers only.

Key Dates:

• Wednesday, June 19th 6 PM - Rigging clinic followed by Pre-Trip planning where we'll work out which gear to take
• Saturday, June 22nd @ 9 am - Load gear and leave
• Saturday, June 22nd @ 8 pm - return gear to club (Sunday morning also OK)

Registration types:

Please register for the trip based on the type of club's windsurfing boards you believe you need for the trip. Registration is limited based on the number and type of boards that are approved for use on the trip. There are also registration types for members who own their your own gear, and for members who are not planning to windsurf.  Guests can accompany members on trips but cannot use club gear.
