Spring Work Party - Kayak & Surfski Fleet

Spring work party to carry out repairs, maintenance and prepare the kayaks, surfskis and related gear for the summer. Some things we can do:

wash and clean all the boats
- clean out sand from cockpits
- clean out sand from skeg boxes
- inspect rudders & skegs
check and repair (neoprene) hatch covers
check and repair deck lines and bungees
check condition of hulls & gel coat
Spray skirts
- check and repair spray skirts
Organize all kayak equipment in the kayak shed
- paddles
- hatches
- PFDs

Great opportunity to get together with other club members and plan for outings and trips.

Please register if you'd like to come and help keep the fleet in good repair.

Weather permitting - if it's miserable we will postpone - check the Kayaking Slack Chat channel for last minute updates.
