Crew - Monohull sailor
You have to be previously checked out out on some of our monohulls and know how to skipper those if you want to sign up as Crew.
Level 1 Cat Skipper - N500/N500spi/N570
Signing up as Level 1 Skipper will let you skip Level 1 Cats and crew Level2/3 cats on a Cat-Ur-Day.
Level 2/3 Advanced Skipper - N580/F18
To sign up as Advanced Skipper you need Level 2 Advanced / Level 3 High Performance rights in the checkout system

This Saturday is Cat-ur-day: Come and join when the Locarno cats go out in force.

We will rig as many cats as we can find capable skippers for (F18, F18 Infusion, 580, 570, 500 spi) and will give crew with/without prior experience a chance to taste the exhilaration of slicing through the water on two hulls.

Our route will be tacking up the shore to bell boy near UBC and back to JSCA or across to lighthouse park and back as a tight group.

Prerequisite:

the Caturday catamaran crew has to be checked out in at least one of our monohulls (Laser, Vanguard, Tasar, RS500) or one of our cats or foiling fleets.
review the Catamaran Rigging and Sailing Guide as well as the Locarno cat videos on this page and know how to rig the jib and main with the hook at the mast stop.
Please register as Skipper if you are Level 1/2/3 Cat, Crew if you are checked out for Monohulls
