Rowing Checkout - Advanced (Maas Aero)

This Checkout is for members who want to row the Maas Aero 1X.

Prior to this Checkout, you must have passed the Regular Checkout (Level 1), and are able to demonstrate sufficient ability to row the Maas Aero in a safe and controlled.

• If you are unsure, a rough guideline is having the equivalent of two or more years of rowing experience, and/or more than twenty rowing sessions on the water with Club Locarno.

The Checkout covers:

• Rigging and de-rigging
• Launching and landing

While a self-rescue is not part of this Checkout, we strongly recommend that you practise a few at some point during the season, preferably sooner than later.

Lastly, if you do not pass, don't despair: we offer excellent Advanced Lessons that will help you attain the required level of proficiency to row these beautiful boats.
