Kayak Trip - Southern Gulf Islands - D'Arcy Island

Kayak Trip Friday 15 - Sunday 17 August: Southern Gulf Islands. Two nights. 

• D'Arcy Island - Possible fall back. Rum Island, Sidney Spit  or Portland Island

Probably Level 2 for at least part of the trip.

Roll-on roll-off the ferry with the kayaks and launch at Swartz Bay

Tentative itinerary:

• Thursday evening: pickup kayaks and gear
• Friday: Roll on BC Ferries at Tsawwassen 8am ferry, launch at Swartz Bay. Paddle to D'Arcy ~17k. Lunch at Dock Island or Sidney Spit
• Saturday: Explore D'Arcy, Little D'Arcy or Sidney Spit
• Sunday: return paddle to Swartz Bay. 4pm or 5pm ferry
