Kayak Trip Planning Meeting

THIS WILL BE AN IN PERSON MEETING AT JSCA.

This trip planning meeting for all kayak members who would like to participate in or lead club trips this season.

We'll start the meeting with a couple of short presentations on a couple of previous trips. We will look at both day and overnight destinations. We’ll also be discussing various levels of trips (catering to differing abilities of members) and club protocols for preparation and trip roll-out.

We'll summarize what you need to do to sponsor a trip. There are two roles on a trip:

the trip organizer
on-the-water trip leader.

So if you want to sponsor a trip, but feel you lack the on-the-water experience, then you can include a second leader.
