Kayakers Getting Wet - Self Rescue Practice

This is a practice session for those members who feel rusty with their self rescue and assisted rescue skills OR new members who want to rehearse a self rescue before doing a checkout. 

All new members of the kayak fleet are required to take a kayak lesson, or demonstrate their existing skills in a Kayak Checkout, before they can sign out club boats. You must demonstrate basic kayak skills:

You must wear a wetsuit or dry suit for this session. Wetsuits can be rented at Windsure, also on the JSCA compound.
