Kayak Trip Planning Workshop

THIS WILL BE AN IN PERSON MEETING AT JSCA (JSCA North East Room & outside).

This trip planning workshop is aimed at beginner kayak campers: kayak members who would like to plan or participate in trips. The workshop covers the rudiments of navigating, tides & currents. There will be some time in a classroom and some time outdoors.

The workshop is aimed at those planning shorter, long weekend trips. 

We will cover:

• Introduction to navigating
• Introduction to tides and currents
• Kayaks on cars - how to lash a kayak on a car and a kayak cart
• Packing for Purpose - packing for a trip

Looking forward to seeing everyone and getting back into summer tripping!

Workshop will be 4-5hrs.
