Laser and Tasar Discovery

In these 9 hours, we include rigging clinics for Lasers and Tasars and  an on-water checkout for sailors already checked out on Quest/V15. *The last 30 min of each session will focus on derigging, storing spars and debrief on shore.

Prerequisites:

• Being a member at Club Locarno. Yes, all Club Locarno members can join!*
• Ideally, you have completed an equivalent of CANSail 1 or 2 in the past
• You should be checked out in the Vanguards and/or Quests
•  Plus 20 hours sailing Quests and/or Vanguards at the helm is a firm requirement for using the Lasers and Tasars.

*you do not need to be part of the Sailing Fleet to take these sailing lessons but you do need a Sailing Fleet membership to attempt a checkout.

Sessions:

• Monday evening:        1800-2100 (3 hours).
• Wednesday evening:  1800-2100 (3 hours).
• Thursday evening:      1800-2100 (3 hours).

Registration closes 5 days before the first class.
