Social Rowing: "Free-er & Funner than FIFA!"

Meet at 6:15pm for a 6:30pm (-ish) launch.

Make this weekly, member-run, Social Row your chance to meet, row, exchange tips/tricks/war-stories, compare blisters, and otherwise schmooze, with your peers.

Social rows will vary according to the weather and the group, from a leisurely lily-paddle to something a bit more strenuous. The intent, however, is for the group to stay together: this is not a fitness challenge, race, or other competitive endeavour ... apart from comparing blisters.

You can then cap the evening off with an equally enjoyable yak-up and feed at the Galley. What's not to like?

All fleet members are welcome, though you do need to have been Checked-Out on the boat you wish to use.

This is also a wonderful opportunity to try the LiteRace 2x! Bow must have been Checked Out on this boat, while Stern needs only a CheckOut on any other boats

What could be simpler?

Please register for the event; and cancel if you can't make it so others can  know if they should expect the pleasure of your company. It is also a good idea to check if others are registered before turning up unless you're happy to row alone.  

Weather permitting: we'll likely cancel if it's raining too hard or winds are >8kt. We'll also adjust the number of registrants to ensure there are enough boats for everyone, particularly if this coincides with a lesson.
