About the event

This on land part of the checkout includes a visit to the Club room to see where RS 500 boat sails and parts are stored (Part 1) and a rigging clinic (Part 2). It is for experienced sailors who want to be cleared to use a new fleet; it is also a great refresher. 

You will also require an on-water checkout (Part 3); which is a separate registration. Details of our checkout clinics can be found at Sailing Orientations and Checkout Clinics.

Prerequisites

All checkout participants must know how to sail and have experience and sail comfortably the other monohull boats of the club.

Registration closes 24 hours before the clinic.  The clinic will be cancelled if no one has registered by that time.  

Cancellations must be done at least 24 hours before the clinic on the Locarno website.
