Rowing checkout

This is a free clinic that is intended for new members who are experienced scullers who want to have their skills checked out so that they can get on the water (mandatory prerequisite to using the fleet)

We will cover the following:

• overview of the fleet
• rigging and derigging
• launching and landing
• use of sign out system
• policies and practices
• distance rowing (where to go, tides, wind/waves, currents, hazards)
• capsize recovery (i.e. get back into the boat from deep water)
